Arash Kasebi
Postdoctoral Research Scholar
At NC State University, Dr. Arash Kasebi is a postdoctoral research scholar under the direction of Dr. Ormond. Arash has also volunteered as a firefighter in Wake County, North Carolina since 2015. His projects have included investigating the durability of firefighter clothing, improving the performance of firefighter protective hoods, and transitioning the fire service towards safer practices and policies related to firefighting foams. Arash is part of the Ormond Research Group led by Dr. Bryan Ormond. There, he utilizes his background in textile technology and experience in the field to advance projects forward and ensure that any research done keeps the end users in mind.
